Adventures of the Traveling Grief Case

So I was trying to figure out what song I wanted to share today.  It was hard after listening to Stevie for the past 24 hours! I have a tendency to do that though.  You know, when you listen to some song or artist you haven’t been listening to lately and then you just can’t get enough of them?  Well,  I have a feeling the next 24 hours may include some Midnight Star.

I can’t say I grew up listening to them, not until I became a teenager and met my first “real” boyfriend (later to become the father of my son).  I remember riding in the car with his family after a day at the beach and this song came on.

 

I fell in love with it.  Aside from the chorus, I always loved this line:

A few years back I bought the CD so I could pass these songs on to my son.  I mean, you have to teach these youngins good music!!  My son and I have spent many car rides singing along to hits like Wet My Whistle, Midas Touch, No Parking On The Dance Floor, Freakazoid and Operator.  But, I have to say it was Curious that I fell in love with first.  Let me know if I forgot one of your favorites, as I’m sure I left one out.
